You have to loot the corresponding helm or armor that you want to imbue from elite planar chests. They only drop ONE item and are quite expensive to buy and rare to loot.

Ok iam confused too now. I forgot what droped where. All i remember is I try farming pend recipe at arena and dark crystal sets in tombs.

Same here, lol. I think we really need a dev or a mod confirmation. Idk when we might get the response but it could also be good to check out the announcements forums where that expansion thread was. It most likely the best idea since the team is on vacation.

Alright its confirmed they only drop from the chest...planar tombs chest...

Dark Crystal is from elite planar TOMBS chest. Nothing worthwhile comes from arena master chest. The recipe actually drops outside of the chest in arena when it drops.
