OK... i am getting annoyed coz i only have 4k kills on my main so i started a new character and have been leveling all on my own a forest haven so i can get kills then ill move on to dark forest then balefort ect is it a good idea or not

Which character are you talking about? I only had 6k on my 50 bear.

Depends. No one can really answer your question. Did you power level your main? If so, I think it is, then you can learn your character. If you didn't power level, then I'd just farm kills and play more, if it's really bothering you.
Edit:
Tanks usually don't get as many kills as opposed to archers or mages. Since tanks are mainly meant to be meat shields, while mages and archers are made to bring in heavy damage.
