Lag has nothing to do with server load. The devs have said they have more than enough capacity for the current user base and then when the need arisies to increase capacity they will. Lag is a result of device processing and network issues between your device and the server. There is plenty of information on the forums about how you can improve those things. FWIW, I have had zero lag today and very little lag at all in recent weeks.

Have you checked your Internet connection/wifi or phone signal and make sure it's strong and not in and out...lag is usually device caused more then it is a pl server overload

If the host is experiencing problems with his internet connection, you will "experience" some sort of lag as well, regardless of your inet connection.

No lag at all this week actually :D well barely any anyway. Ive only lagged out when im playing in the restroom :P

From what I've read, this problem seems more prominent in certain devices than others. Maybe it's because of what's running in the background of your iOS or Android phone. Have you checked that this may be the case?

If you are playing on a device that has a place to turn 3G on or off, turn the 3G off when you are playing PL....my ping drops from 250-300 down to 90-130 on my iPhone when I turn off 3G.

I noticed a slight increase in lag with 1.7, overall my lag has been decent.

Lag and ping are two different things, and they both have a list of possible causes. One could be the PL server, but i don' t think that's the case.

Yes I lag out a lot but it's because my room, the basement and also where the router is, happens to be the worst spot in the house lol and I refuse to play in my kitchen. The servers are fine and like Royce said; the devs will revive the fnord server when it's needed

servers are fine..i just disconnect because of i think my device or router
i hit 64 ping and skyrocket to 90k ping....then back to 85 ping
