Now with all the new stuff is void still useful for anything? If not, why doesnt the price drop?

With the right mix & matching of the lv 51/53/55 uncommon, rare, and epic drops, you can create a gear similar or better than the Void set. The void set's price doesn't drop probably because of the connotation it has - it's been long hailed as the most desirable equips to get at lv 50 prior to the release of Balefort Sewers. You can expect prices to drop slowly in a few months until more and more people decide that Void should finally rest in peace.
