View Full Version : A trick of crown of persistence

Crown of persistence doesn't require any stats as long as u are lvl56. So I tested with my friend Mage wearing a dex crown and it worked. So for a full int Mage with a dex crown u will have 119 hit 18 crit 132 armor with bracer which is really awesome. It so much overpowered my another lvl56 Mage friend with a int crown which only has 97 hit 8 crit. Same with bear. A str/dex bear can easily get around 97 hit which help better tanking. Or even a full str bear with dex crown will get around 85 hit with dex crown. Hmm...it seems to me no point to get any crown other than dex crown. And for those who already choose the wrong crown lvl 56ers, we need to get a chance replacing our crown for another one. Even it will cost some platinum I think it will be fine.

They're untradeable and you can only get them when you reach lv 56.

And with the multiple Dingy Crowns - you only have one chance to purchase them (they are 5 Platinum each), for when you close the Fallen Prince's window after you purchase just one Dingy Crown, you can't ever get to that purchase screen again.

If yah talking about crowns of persistence/dingy crowns, you have to be lvl56 and i think its bought with platinum. And this is really nice to know! :D thanks

It would be risky though, IMO.

I wanted to get the dex crown as well, but I was thinking what if they added set bonuses to str crowns.

Make the 56 crowns changeable via plat! :)

What are these "Dingy Crowns"?

What are these "Dingy Crowns"?

They're the purple crowns you initially get before you turn them into stat speciality crowns.

When your 56 and talk to the Fallen Prince, he lets you buy the purple crown for 5 plat.

You're then able to go through 3 quests to change it into a pink crown.

Hmmm I'm almost Lvl56. I should buy multiple dingy crowns?

Only one of those Dingy Crowns can be crafted into a Crown of Persistence, since the quests to make it is only available once. The other Dingy Crowns would just be there :p

Idk either, I'd like to think buying 2 is the most.

One you turn into a str/int/dex crown, and one you keep as purple.

Not sure though.

Still, dingy crowns are decent. 5 str int dex, 25 health mana, 28(?)armor

After reading this thread, the devs may change the crowns to int/str/dex requirements. So if you choose the wrong one for you, you may regret it.
Unless they did this on purpose.

I don't see the point either in making them no stat req.

The level alone is already enough to make the crown almost character bound, unless you have 2 or more 56s.

It makes it a very very good dual spec booster though. ;)

Well really appreciate this thread. Turned 56 yesterday and bought two and kept a dingy crown for special situations. It does have pretty decent stats.

What if you get two characters to 56? Will i have one chance for my bear and one chance for my mage? Or will i have to buy two for my bear?

If you have multiple characters you can do the quest with both of them but dang you must have your fingers cramped and bleeding by the time you finish the second one to 56.

You would also have no fingerprint on your left thumb by then.

we have enough time until the next cap thought my archer is on half way and my mage is 55 yet. we have another 2-3 months probably. i almost stopped using xp pots...

This crossed my mind today, but, if and when set bonuses come out, they'll most likely come out requiring the crown of persistence (or it'll have little/no use) so those who picked a dex crown as an int Mage won't be able to use the Mage set bonus, unless they level an alt all the way to 56.

Very good for dual spec! I got a dex one not realizing how much lower the defense was on it in comparison to the others, so I leveled my 3rd toon to get another hahahaha
