If you are that afraid, I'm sure they'll give you some laughing/dreaming gas to get you through the operation. To tell you the truth, I wish I had some of that gas for personal use. That stuff is awesome ;)

hahahahaha gotta love the title. Now, i'm gonna be laughing about it all day. :)
as for wisdom teeth, I wish I had some already since they might be more expensive to get taken out when I'm older. getting them taken out shouldn't be a problem though since you're gonna be all drugged up afterwards to even remember. :P

Just last week....
I was out for the whole thing.

I'm 28, btw. It was my first and only wisdom tooth.

Mine was impacted, so I had no choice but to get it removed. I'm finally feeling better, but man, the weekend was a b****.

I had two pulled when I was about 35 -- shouldn't have waited that long, as one of them came in crooked and took out the tooth next to it as well.

The other side came in straight and functional, so we let them be, but they eventually became too hard to care for with cavities, etc., that I had them pulled a few years later.

My advice? Get 'em all pulled at once so you only have to deal with it one time. Have them put you under if you're nervous.

17.
Had the two on one side pulled, then a couple weeks later had the other side pulled.
I did them at separate times so that I could continue to play trumpet in school.
They needed me for the musical.

LOL

I got them removed this year (I'm 17) and the procedure was painless given I was out completely and ilas long as you take the medication for pain it's fine. Nothing to worry about!

I still have mine. All but one have come up through my gums. My dentist gave me the impression that much of the dental community is shifting away from the idea that they will crowd or distort your teeth (not for everyone), and that they should only be removed if they are really causing problems. You gotta make sure you brush back there though.

You played trumpet after getting your teeth pulled? Owww.

Yep :(

I had a pretty cool tonguing trick that made it so that there wasn't really any air pressure going into those wisdom craters :D

It was a bit harder when the 2nd set were out. But by then the first set was pretty well healed.

I got them off at 16, around noon. they used laughing gas to get me asleep and some other knockout to keep me asleep. was supposed to be drowsy for a couple of days.

by dinnertime i was able to eat anything and my mouth wasn't numb, or even hurting at all.

I only had two wisdom teeth. They took one out with some other teeth on my left side, but I still have some on my right. I'm 18. I think I was 16-17. Tooth was impacted.
