You mean the Crystal Staff of Shadows? No not really good for anything. I mean, it's not a bad staff, especially if you use it with the Shadows set, but the Keeper's Staff of the Cosmos is much more powerful. Personally I think they made the keeper staff too powerful. It doesn't really make sense that an AOE staff like that (with a nice proc as well) would be more powerful than the top single target staffs it's level (crystal/mirage/cyber), but that's exactly what the Keeper is, so all three of those other staffs are kind of pointless. I like the way they've done it in BS much better. The staffs are more balanced. You have an AOE fireblaster (Gem Blast) and a single target lightning staff (Gemstone) with slightly higher damage than the AOE staff. This way both are useful in different situations. With the level 50 gear though, there is no reason to use any staff besides the keeper unless you are specifically trying to avoid doing AOE damage.
