Totems (Alien Oasis) Bugs or Facts?

Sometimes we get Totems sometimes we don't? So is this how the system is?

Random...you get one two or none.... average for 200 totems was about 1.57 for me...for 100 shards 1.62, for shadow prisoners showing up...got 2.11 per run.




EDIT: upon reading other posts...I realize I didn't say this was all running 3 minuter keeper runs in VL

Do the keeper. He always gives at least one and often too. Some bosses like King Mynas give none ever.

I have had it happen when I got no totem from keeper. Sometimes he drops 2. It's all luck lol.

Victory Lap keeper runs gave me frequent double totem drops. It isn't as profitable as regular keeper runs if you are trying to make money. But I do think it is the fastest way to complete the quest if you have a decent group to run with.

I done normal ctk runs with almost no totems. Vl keeper almost always 2

Well, now that the cap is above 50, you might as well just run CtK for your totems/shards.

Easier, and faster XP than just doing keeper in VL, if you don't mind the slower production of totems/shards for a quest that ultimately just gives you items which you probably won't use anyways.

Otherwise, go ahead and do VL Keeper runs ;)

A full CTK is a waste of time if you're doing your quests at lvl 53+. You don't get any XP.
Victory lap is better. Faster, better drops (or at least the probability of).
