I used up 7000plat on opening crates and didn't get a thing I feel like I got rip off anyone else had the same issue ? That's just to count what I used in plat now not even counting winter event another 1750 plat fail 2x ursume crates didn't get anything as well. My eng is retracts (rogue)

I spent just about a 1000 dollars in 3 months and not get one arcane this makes me feel more like a rip off this is like evening about 1500 crates and get nothing Plz what luck is that common it's all about money as well you put more plat you get more so don't tell me that in 1500 I should not get at least 1 mythic

You could open 1 million locks and get nothing but 2k rewards and legendaries. Luck is luck, there isn't a guarantee. Sure it feels like putting that much plat in should give you something, but luck doesn't work that way. Sorry you put that much money into it, but that's how the locked crates work.

If you used that 7,000 plat to buy ankhs/elixir kits to sell them in auction, you could've banked roughly 15-21m gold.

The problem with lockeds is that they lure people into a false sense of success and give people the belief that if they open x amount they're gonna loot some riches. As I said in my original post we have all felt your pain too. I hope you find what you desire inside a crate one day bro

The money u spend on this game is not for real money to take back not even close I been good customer for space time and they know that first time it ever happed to me this time I don't see people selling a lot of item like last double odds weekend I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that had this issue. I understand 1750 but 8750 it's more like a ripoff on this game . It's stupid to think that it's like gamble to get stuff back I would of never gamble in that case

The 2x will get ya. 2x means nothing at all because nobody knows what 1x odds are. That is STS fault. Gambling is yours. I pop locks as much as the next but I always assume I'll lose. You would have better luck with a gambling game where the odds are clearly stated... ie blackjack. My thoughts of why odds aren't disclosed is that some of us would pool a fairly large sample size and test/contest the odds. They likely change, whether on purpose or accident. Until they choose to clarify, the fault remains on us. Better luck next time. Or as someone stated above, sell elixirs and ankhs. You can ballpark a guaranteed return, probably better than looting HJ egg in 100 locked crates.

So 7-8k plat is like $400-$500 right? If you were going to buy...say...a new phone for that amount, you would research it first right? Most people would do searches, read reviews online, and see what other people's experiences with the product were. After all, you wouldn't want to spend that much and get a crappy phone.

Basically this is gambling and the codes in it are random chance. At lower usage of plats and lower amount of lockeds, say less than 50 u have a better chance at myths and arcanes. From my perspective never open a single locked. U basically can use it for other things also.

From that 5k plats u could've got 13.6m from only selling ankh from every penny of plats. Think of other things, lockeds arent the only way of richy rich.

Lol a month before from now a guy joined, i helped him to reach level 15,then while running brackenridge brackenridge,he got a locked crate,maybe he was running with luck elixir i didnt care that much,so when we finished then he asked how to open locked that is with 15 plat,he didnt had plats,so he bought some and opened the locked crate.


He told me he looted something called maul and it was red in colour(although i bought him some gears lol) then i didn't paid much attention then when i told him to equip the weapon I was like

he just got one arcane item in one shot and i have opened like more than 500 locked,i couldnt believe my eyes.

Then he just asked me if i had more ,then i traded with him for 7 lock(he bought gold with plat and then gave 70k,LOL my bad luck was going on so i didnt care to open them),he then got samael and glacian along with that legendary kraken gear.

He gave me glacian lol

and i Was like YIPPEEE (for long time i was waiting for glacian)

After that he reached lvl 27 but couldnt hear him getting more than epic from locked

You have to read the fine print. It say exactly what the drop rates are in locks. Just you would need the latest microscope that costs USD 300mil to read the fine prints.

FYI I still don't know the drop rates because I can't afford the microscope.

To put it in perspective , the very first arcane item i looted took 1,100 crates. Then 4 months later, i almost dropped my phone so i accidentally hit the button to unlock a crate and the screen flahed arcane item. It's completely luck

Lol another one of these topics. Opening locked is a gamble and plenty of topics are here that say the exact same thing as this.

If you had bought and sold ankh kits with your $1k worth of plat instead of opening locked you could have bought anything you wanted in this game.

The only person to blame for poor plat spending is the user. There are more than enough topics like this to teach people.

You opened them wrong, I'm guessing you just opened all of the crates at once because its "double odds".
Thats where you went wrong.

My experience and every very experienced locked opener i have ever spoken too about the subject will tell you to pace yourself.
Open 10-20 locks and then wait an hour or two or even a day or two and then open more.

Myself,and the others ive spoken too on the subject will tell you if you dont get arcane in the first 20 take a break...90% of the time its within the first 10-20 crates.

Ive gotten arcane maul, singe, and various mythics on my VERY FIRST crate of the "session" using this method.

About 8 times i received myth/arcane items on my first crate of the day/opening session.

Ive opened very minimal locks compared to most people, this much i can assure you.

You spent more plat opening locks in one session than i ever had in two years of playing.

I have seen a lot of extra reds pop up in CS, they do adjust the drop rate.

I agree w/ above poster if you gonna loot red it usually happens before the first 20 you crack unless you are going for a marathon.

I got singe in 15 locked this weekend and it came around 8th one opened.

We also had a guildie loot a sam in a single crate.

It's odds, you could still get nothing. But the fun is in the gamble, just make sure you don't waste all of your gold and plat on these weekend events. The BEST way to obtain items is to save by merching a little and farming!! Right now Tombs has plenty of farming where you can earn very good gold if you put the time and effort into it.

The idea then is the following "who buys a lot, you're going to have to buy more" and that no purchase will get excited with the item well.. And will end more buy too,
As you all know this and a money machine!

And after a-40% for sale...? That is made for players to buy more,
Comes a x 2 odds and. .. To use the plat of a OS time .... And buy again and It's repeating itself throughout the year ...

This weekend started x 2 odds and. .. PECO players.. The checks whether the staff's taking really the item with chance best ... Because that way
This game isn't won the best game of the year again.

Platinum stay safer buying and don't think you are being deceived

You really shouldnt be making threads about how much plat you spent and your loss in opening locks. It was your choice. YOU chose to buy plat, sts did not force you to. YOU chose to open locks, sts did not force you to. So I suggest stop complaining about it, because it was YOUR choice. People never learn.

Bad plat investments are only the fault of the user. Opening locked is gambling. Can't blame the casino for spending all your money and not winning. There are plenty of good plat investments that are guaranteed to give a high gold return.

The 2x is very misleading. People log in and see 2x chance and go for it only to wind up here asking why they just wasted all their money. Its kind of sad.

Everyone always jumps on them when they complain but they may not be steady forum readers and realize how often this happens.

Sts should state on the login screen where they advertise 2x that the odds of obtaining anything of value is extremely rare.

People never learn about opening locked crates, if you've never opened always talk to someone that has.. To get insight on how it works, I've opened many, many crates, and have had good luck looting Arcanes, as few have already said in this post it's all about pace, opening them in sessions, 15-20 at a time, going on a crate popping binge will most likely leave you disappointed....
