The guy's name is Arman Alizad and he has made a series of these TV shows where he travels to most interesting places of the world and shows what they are like. This is a trailer of his North Siperia trip:

I have spent now couple evenings watching these episodes trough. On some trips he almost dies or gets killed by some disease or Brazilian slum gangs or just cold. And the cameraman. He is going trough all that also!
