It says "Cannot connect to server. Please check your internet connection" at the log in page. my itnernet is running and i am 100% sure coz it works on safari. I using iPhone btw. Any help?

Try closing the app down and relaunching it. It happens to me too, when I have internet available.

If you tried unistalling it, then reinstalling it, there really isn't much you can do. Are you on wifi?

Done that. Still same. Yes wifi. I think I connected at the airport just now and the airport blocks it. Maybe the connection got stuck?

Well if you can get onto your safari but still cannot get a connection through PL then something is wrong....and Im sorry but I dont know what...

I tried logging in with 3G network. It works but not wifi. Its my own wifi and I didn't block anything.

Sometimes your wifi will mess with the 3G connection. Try just turning wifi off completely.

Happens to me too but the problem is the wifi. Turn off your router and turn it on again. It'll work then

K turn everything off....everything, 3g, wifi, then phone, the router, then turn it all back on if that doesnt work...I dunno.

And the latest patch? Androids are real tricky lol I think us iOS users take how smooth it is for us for granted
Edit: nvm lol. Then I guess you're stuck on 3G. Better than not playing at all

If 3G works, and your Wifi doesn't, it seems to be your firewall on your router is blocking whatever port(s) needed open for PL.

Checked everything. My Router is not blocking any IP/Port. Just few days back I am still able to connect.

ARGH FINALLY! I solved this by turn on and off the airplane mode. iPhone messed up the connection. Btw thanks for trying to help.
