Im having trouble with mages and foxes

I may be able to help you with this. One thing I need to know first though.
Angel or Sun God?
I never had angel so I used Sun God.
This build worked fine:
9 Buffs
9 Root
9 Blast
9 Repulse
8 Blind
5 Avian
6 Thorn wall
1 Shatter
Against mages:
Buffs, Blind, Root, Shatter, Blast, Thorn, Repulse. From here mage is almost dead so use ur blind / blast / repulse to finish off.
Against foxes:
Buffs, Repulse, Blind, Root, Shatter, Blast, Thorn. From here fox is almost dead so use blind / blast / repulse to finish off.

Strength foxes I'd reccomend blind root break root cruel blast repulse ( These are a real pain for birds)
Dex foxes - Blind root cruel blast
Pally - blind root root cruel blast ( Hard to say because I'd use a different combo if they kited )
Int mage - if they ms quickly I'd use blast repulse then wait for blast then cruel blast if they don't ms quick make sure you can blast that mana shield when it comes
