Welcome to Noobmigo's Guide of PvP Talk in PL Noobmigo will show you all what the confusing abbreviation and PL slang mean.

Basic Talk

Ping Ping refers to the thing in the lower left corner of your game screen. It shows you what your Internet connection is. When used in PvP, it usually means that they got a ping spike. (when ping goes way up, and PL does not respond to your commands)
Noob This is a rude term for people who are not very good at PvP, or just a rude term that people use when they are hating on your awesomeness. It is short for "newbie"
1-1 or 1v1 This means that people are trying to do a One Versus One, and you should not interfere. Doing so could result in a boot.
Lag Another word for Ping Spike, it is when your ping goes way up, and PL does not respond to your commands.
FFA This means "Free For All, it is just a random brawl.
Health This is used after a 1-1, when a player is trying to get to full and you challenge him to a 1-1. It means that the player is not full, but he will 1-1 you when he is.
Mana See Health. Same thing except with Mana
CD or Cooldown This means one of the person's skills are "cooling down" & the player can't use them during the CD period
Buff This refers to a skill that improves the stats of one's player
Debuff This refers to a skill that decreases the stats of a enemy player
Juking This refers to "Juking" a player so their attacks won't land.
Combo This refers to a special series of attacks that deal extra damage, such as Shattering Scream + Blast Shot.

Skills
Archers
Shat- This refers to the Archer Skill Shattering Scream, and is a Debuff
Blast- This refers to the Archer Skill Blast Shot, and it is a huge damage skill
Blind- This refers to the Archer Skill Blinding Shot, and it is a damage skill/ debuff
Repulse- This refers to the Archer Skill Repulse Shot, it knock-backs the opponent and is a damage skill
Thorn- This refers to the Archer Skill Thorn Root/ Thorn Wall, it "roots" the opponent. It does undocumented damage
Avian- This refers to the Archer Skill Avian Scream, it knock-backs the opponent and does damage

Warriors (Bears)
IR- This refers to the Warrior Skill Iron Blood, it is a buff.
HS- This refers to the Warrior Skill Hell Scream, it is a debuff. Also known as "Scream"
SMS- This refers to the Warrior Skill Super Mega Slash, it is a damage skill, and has many other uses.
Venge- This refers to the Warrior Skill Vengeful Slash, it is a damage skill, and also does knock-back
Crip- This refers to the Warrior Skill Crippling Slash, it is a damage skill, and has many other uses. Also known as "Cripple"

Enchantresses (mages)
BOV- This refers to the Enchantress Skill Blessing of Vitality, it is a buff.
BOM- This refers to the Enchantress Skill Blessing of Might, it is a buff.
Fire- This refers to the Enchantress Skill Firestorm, it is a damage skill and also does knock-back. Sometimes called "Nuke" or "storm"
Frost- This refers to the Enchantress Skill Frostbite, it is a damage skill and also "roots" or freezes.

Nice terms. Here are a few you might want to add also.

Combo
Running (As in running away. Others may not understand what you mean when you yell "stop running" on the battlefield)
Juking
Rejoin (May seem self explanatory, but some players might not understand why they need to rejoin)

Another term used in pvp is "kiting." This is basically running towards your opponent, spamming your combo, and running away like a maniac so they can't dmg or kill you.

And "Wall" refers to the avian skill thorn wall. "Root" refers to the avian skill thorn root. My recommendation is that you should have these separate and not both under root.

"Break" refers to the avian skill break armor.
