Skills auto added?

Erm I'm level 6 now, and have 3 skills for the bird. The thing is when I get a new skill, the skill point for that level is auto-added into the new skill. Is there any way to stop this? Was planning to skip Avian Scream, but now its level 1

Sadly, I don't think there's a way to avoid it. The only way to actually skip a skill would be to respec. I'm not sure if it only does this for your first line of skills, someone has to confirm this.

If it helps, at least level 1 of Avian Scream is useful for a bird, so there's no need to avoid that skill :)

If it adds meditation and restore, that's just forcing me to respec

That bit is true, again I'm not sure if it only does this for your first 4 skills since I remember when I started out, that it didn't add points to beckon when my bear got the skill.

It MIGHT only auto-add for your first 4.

Only the first 3 or 4

Auto-adds up to the first 4, so Meditation and Restore won't be auto-added. Don't worry about lv 1 Avian Scream, either since you'll be most likely getting it anyway when you reach 56. If not - it's still ok, just take it off from Repulse Shot.
