I have a question about damage

I'm still a relatively new player, so I still have a couple of random unanswered questions that I'm not sure was answered anywhere else in the forums, but can someone explain how damage is adjusted when you equip a weapon?

Base damage, nothing equipped besides Vanity beret: 50-56

Cyber Blaster of the Void damage is 126-171 when it is highlighted but not equipped.
Projected damage is 175-220 (125-164 damage added instead of 126-171, so actual projected damage should be 176-227). 11 dex from the gun also adds (11x0.15) = 1.65 damage.

Cyber Blaster of the Void when equipped gives 177-222 damage.
Expected damage added with weapon (including added dex) = 127-172
Actual damage added with weapon = 127-166

Why is max damage decreased by 6? Am I missing something here ?_?

I'm confused... Your damage shows an increase? What specifically is the question you are askign?

The damage shown to the left (where all the stats are) should be

Min damage = 50(base) + 126(Blaster min) + 1.65(from Blaster 11 dex) = 177
Max damage = 56(base) + 171(Blaster max) + 1.65(from Blaster 11 dex) = 228

So 177-228, but it says 177-222 instead.

You sir are right! I think you just found a very long and unnoticed glitch. I should start doing some more number crunching while playing PL but my brain doesn't want to! :(. Best to email this as a glitch, as it most definitely is and should NOT be doing that.

Would you be able to compare the lack of damage from a mega blaster of void and sunblessed bow of void? If they're the same, it might because of the "Void" bonus?

Not the void set, but just an additional damage per Void equipped, in this case, weapon.

All mine give -1 min and -7 max or so. Either it's a bug, or fists give 1-7 weapon damage...

How long has this discrepancy been out? I recall seeing this since I started playing a couple of months ago but kept forgetting to ask til now :(

yea its been like this foreverrrr but no one really seem to notice or care enough to voice it out
