Cyber Void Wing For Free?

Cyber Wing of the Void: Obtain from the "?" NPC that spawns in map 'Crush the Keeper!' and obtain 5 shadow essences from Captive Shadows in the map 'Captive Audience'.

You may also obtain this for free from Ellie in Forest Haven.

The question is, how do i obtain this for free?

I think you have to do the wing/shield/bracer quest first, and you get to choose one from Ellie afterwards. I never actually had to use Ellie, since the bonus quest was given for those who accidentally chose the wrong shield type I think.

Haha I recognize my own writing. Sorry I didn't explain it further, but Elly is right - you need to complete the quest first to get a Cyber Void Wing, and you can get ANOTHER one by talking to Ellie after you finish the quest.

i did it and i didnt get the wing but the bear shield.... i had a choice to choose actually

I just finished the essence quest and chose the wrong shield can anything be done to reverse this? He'll I'm in distress over this

they changed once my mystery helm from dex to str, so i think so, but u have to wait some days, i think they have importanters to do.
