So the unbroken movie came out on Christmas I believe, and I went to see it with my family. It is my 3rd favorite movie of all time, behind The Lone Survivor in 2nd and Interstellar in 1st. The main reason I loved the movie so much was because Louie was a runner and I am a runner too, so it was truly inspiring to see the motivation he had to do everything.

I started reading the book soon after I saw the movie and I believe I'm 1/4 of the way done, and I have to say it is definitely the best book I've ever read. It is WAYYYY more detailed than the movie and gives so many more facts and details of what he went through. So I suggest you read the book before you go see the movie so you can understand it better!

RIP Zamp

Bc Angelina Jolie rly cares if a minute gaming forum sees her movie.

Then again, it did do pretty poorly, so who knows.

I found they stretched it out too much, some parts were long and how many times can they show Louie get beat up...

If you're referring to how many times he got punched by the prisoners, no. He actually did get punched by all of them, 220 times. And Louie told the entire story and corrected anything he didn't like about the movie and book!

I know it's based on a true story, and no I wasn't referring to the prisoners, I was referring to how many times they showed him get beat up by guards, we understood after 2-3times that he got beat a lot. Also they stretched out the part in the floatter too much, they could've made that part a bit shorter because I felt like they stretched it out.
