level 51 farming saturday

I am putting together a group to run Hideout, all 51 or less.

Time on Saturday is noon USA eastern / nine USA western.

I will check this thread in the morning. Give your in-game-name, and add Nilsia (my mage) and Corelli (my bear). I will decide which one to use based on whether we need a rezzer or a tank.

I am also available as an int elf. I have Poseidon Level 50 elf to sub in if needed. Mind you though, I am not as good with an elf as I am with a bird or bear.

Too bad I can't just "tune in" to a Pocket Legends run channel, because I'd love to watch some live action elite runs to see how certain players use skills and strategies against different enemies and such. I need to polish some techniques quite a bit, and moving pictures > pictures > words, at least for me.

Question / Suggestion, are we doing this to farm level 51 items? If so, I suggest we do any level EXCEPT Hideout. The reason is that is the level most run by low level players. If the reasoning for hideout was Goldfinger is the boss that drops 51 items, that does not appear to be true in BS. It seems all bosses drop items that are 'party' level, not board level. The proof of this is the Sewer Queen Staff level 51 in the CS, since that only drops from the Goblin King.

FluffnStuff, I didn't know that. Yes, it is definitely farming. Since I haven't run as much in BS and I respect your opinion a lot, what level do you think is a great one for farming level 51? Also, if we split into two, would you take the second group?

Five minutes before 9 pacific (noon eastern) I will put Corelli into the least populous sewer town I find and then we can meet up there. Even if we get 50% drop out, we will have a party.

I plan to keep going up till Kossi checks in (3 hours), and then some.

Possible Bosses:
Gold Fever - Pros: Drops armor which is expensive, can be done with this group. Cons: Over farmed, but based on CS prices, it looks like low levels are sticking to high level groups, so not a lot of max 51 farming.
King / Queen: Pros Drops Bracers/Shields which are expensive, ~can~ be done with this group. Cons: Queen has a ton of health and healing, so will take a bit for this group to kill her.
Trash Heap: Pros: Easiest for this group. Cons: Weapons seem to be the lowest priced items for 51's in CS (other then hats).
CockRoach: Pros: Least Farmed, good drops. Cons: Would not try with less then 3 archers at 55, let alone 51.
Goblin King: Pros: Fastest run, with right group, fastest kill. Cons: With 1 archer to team, totem will definitely appear. Teams can test if they can kill the totem, but if not, he is out.

---- Other Possibility:
Beargular/Dr. Noxious
Pros: Fastest way to get level gear.
Cons: No PINKS ...

As for teams, I will go on whatever team Dahood is not on. The big thing will be to split the bears, as it seems we have a ton of mages.

I've been so busy farming for the new content drops that I've been paying little attention to anything else but i did notice the spike in lower level items on CS. What's with the low 50s gear craze that's going on now? I don't get it.
