Table of contents:
I. Introduction
II. Wifi Screenshot
III. Import screenshot
IV. Demo screenshot

I. Welcome, this tutorial will show you how to take 3 types of screenshots.
i will explain each one briefly then you will decide.
the wifi screenshot (1st type) requires a wifi or (2g/3g/4g/edge) connection to upload to your computer and is the longest, with slightly downgraded quality it will only require your mobile device tho, however. the import screenshot, being the most effective with it's superior quality and take screenshots continuously, which you need a cable, your iphone and your computer to do, but not all at the same time. the demo screenshot, you do not need a cable, but requires your mobile device and a computer.

II. Hello, this is called the wifi screenshot. (credit to utopi for this)
Requirements for this to work: Wifi/Internet source no computer necessary.
1 app(photobucket mobile) and 1 optional app (cropforfree)
Render result:

alright, let us begin.

First you will need to download 2 apps.
1) Photobucket mobile
2) Crop for free (This is optional!)

Once you have these 2 components then you are set.
While playing pl or anything, press the home and powerbutton at the same exact time to take a screenshot, do not do this for to long, only 1/2 a second. else, it might go to the turn off screen or exit your app. This will put the screenshot into your images folder automatically.

Do not read the following section, skip to the next paragraph if you do not want to use crop for free.
Alright this is where crop for free can come in handy, if u want to take a specific part of an image without the rest, you can go into crop for free, open your image

http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac43/utopi3103/6b766794.jpg
and you may rotate if you please so it isn't angled wrong.
if you rotate it, it will end up like this.
http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac43/utopi3103/a24d8fa5.jpg
Then you can save it, edit it or fiddle with it until you have the idea.

Alright back to the uploading thing, now is the time to go to photobucket mobile.
It will load up giving you this:

http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac43/utopi3103/6beed59c.jpg
You will want to press choose existing. then go into your images folder and chose the image you cropped or screen shotted. this will begin to upload, giving you your result.
it then provides a link if you wish to show everyone

Or you can go onto your computer which is a little quicker and get the image.
YOUR DONE!

III. This is the import screenshot, and to be fair, my favorite one. This one is quick, easy and the best choice.
Requirements: USB Cable from computer to ipod ( your charger basically ) your ipod, and a computer.
render result:

http://i54.tinypic.com/6qiov8.png

Ok first if you did not read the wifi screenshot, we will need to take a screenshot.
To take a screenshot, you will need to press the home and power button at the same time, for about 1/2 a second. This will take a screenshot, and directly export it to your images folder. Once it is there, this is where your cable charger comes in.
plug one side into your ipod, the other into the USB jack in your computer. This will allow you to surf your ipod.

Next open My computer or type in "Computer" at the address bar of a folder.
Once you are in "My computer" it should show you your hard-drive, your removable storage/and or various other things, and your iphone/ipad/itouch. Double Click on your iphone/itouch/ipad. This will bring up the DCIM folder.
If you are unsure where i am at right now, open my computer and you can type in the following: "Computer\Spencer ******'s iPhone\Internal Storage" Accept replace my name with yours, or whatever you saved it as under itunes.

Now, in the DCIM folder, there should be another. Should be something like "800AAA00". Click it. In this folder is all of your images/recorded films you have ever created. (Note: if you deleted something, it will not be here) Drag that image onto your desktop or a folder you can access quickly

Stop reading now if you do not want to upload and share this image to someone.
Now we are going to upload it and show people the image you took a screenshot of.
Go onto a website that hosts images, such as the following:
http://imageshack.us, http://tinypic.com, and http://photobucket.com
There you will find an upload button (besides photobucket) and it will ask you to place
a file and select it, now via your computer select that photo that you dragged onto your computer or easy access-folder. Press OK/Select and it will begin uploading.
after this, it will have some link such as a direct link or forum link, for your image.
YOUR DONE!

IV. Demo Screenshot - This technique is well but takes some time to get.
Requirements: atleast 5mb of disk space on your computer, a jailbroken ipod, veency(optional), an iphone/ipad/itouch, and a cable charger(also optional)
Render result:

http://i54.tinypic.com/6qiov8.png

Alright this process is long for the first time, but it pays off with its stunning quality.
First i advise you to download these programs before starting:
http://www.plutinosoft.com/idemo
Get Veency From cydia on a jailboken ipod (optional - just speeds up fps)
Get Screensplitr from cydia also on a jailbroken ipod

From here, go on your iphone and look at the app screensplitr, it should be turned on.
if not, start the app and there will be an "on" symbol on the app.

Now you can do 1 of 2 things. #1 is for better fps, #2 is for wifi

#1 Connect your cable one end to your ipod/iphone/ipad, other to your computer.
WITH SCREENSPLITR ON then turn on idemo on your computer.
#2 turn screensplitr on, and turn on idemo on your computer.

Now you will get this screen:

http://i54.tinypic.com/rj4p44.png
It will load up your device eventually, if not restart the program from your computer, and turn off screensplitr off and on again. (it happens, its normal)

When its done searching, you can get 1 or 2 results. if you did #1, you'd get 2 results.
if you did #2, you'd get 1 result.
the 2 results are
"YOUR NAME's iPod (wifi)"
"YOUR NAME's iPod (USB)"

Choose USB if it is available, wifi if it is not.
This will give you your screen. From here, take a screenshot on your computer pressing print screen then open up any image editor (paint is one) and press
the following: Control+v and it will paste your entire screen.
Select your ipod part and copy it, then open a new document and paste.
then save this, and upload as you please.
YOUR DONE!

Also you can rotate in tinypic, once u upload it will say "edit image" next to direct link. just rotate is 90' and saves you 3 minutes.

You can't upload pictures to their wall anymore. There's a sticky'd version of a screenshot thread on the first page of general discussion (the section this thread is in). This thread is dead so post there :)
