Hey everyone!

There have been some changes to the the rules to allow only 1 Arcane pet per team. It was a hard decision, but they are such a game changer at the twink levels that this was the best way to make the tournament more accessible to everyone. Remiem will contact the teams that have already registered to make any necessary line-up changes. Also, the deadline has been extended to 12:00PM CST on Tuesday, February 17th.

If it comes down to skill and your team happens to be more skilled, then you have nothing to worry about. The new rule doesn't put you at a disadvantage.

I am a pure twink player and don't have any end-game character, but I am really happy with this decision. There is also a banner similar to that of TDM/CTF PvP tournaments that will be rewarded.

Note: I am not saying that twinks do not deserve to be rewarded this but merely clarifying the rewards.

excuse me? I as a twink since s4 and moved up to 41 and randomly visit twink lvls now find arcane pets as a big gap to non arcane users. Vepy, has been twinking with me in 15 from the past 5 months. You are being rude here and let us feel we arent welcome at all. I would suggest you to calm your balls out and let your team practice without arcane pets for them not to be worried about...

Btw not long ago there where big discussions about breeze's extreme powerful AA , many of those who are now against up to 3 arcane pets , said that the arcane pets they bought were useless because they were getting farmed by breeze users, many if you are now using breeze as tournament pet ....but nobody of us who own arcane pets did ever say anything against the use of breeze for this event -.-

Some of us happen to have played lvl 15 before. Even so, it's nice to see that you guys are against endgamers that want to come for the sole purpose of winning a tournament and receiving a prize.

Breeze has been nerfed to an extent, and it can't be stacked.

Breeze is not as OP after it gets nerfed. You cant stack a breeze so idk what would that pet harms to everyone. It is OP if you stack it, but rules obviously said you cant stack same pets.

Hey guys,

This conversation is getting from bad to worse... Instead of being happy with this new challenge for twinks, we are whining and whining to each other. Who cares if end-gamers are joining the tourney? The rules were made by STS and they are trying to make this tournament as balanced as possible. If you have good feedback, than give good feedback (such as putting a max on arcane pet per team). This is the first tournament that STS is organizing, so good feedback is more than welcome. From all the posts in this thread there are more accusations than really helpful feedback.

For example: If we wouldn't allow end-gamers to the tourney, than we wouldn't even get near to a sign up of 16 different teams. When I am reading most comments I really have to laugh, especially when people say "I don't care about the prizes". Of course you do care, why would you otherwise put so much effort with trying to make a statement.

Let's all try to find some more 'fun' with this new challenge (tournament) and make the best of it. We can always give our positive feedback after warts, so STS can organize this more often for twinks. For myself, I really like the suggestion (someone gave above) about STS providing all tournament players the gear + pet during the tournament. In order to make the gear completely in balance. I just don't know if STS is able to do that, but who knows... :chuncky:

Rather, at least from what it seems, it's going to come down to which para-filled team has a Nekro (and if not Nekro, then SNS). This reminds me of the last tourney where the final two teams were differentiated by the planar pendant (one team had 3 planar pendants, while the other team had 0). Skill and strategy wise they seemed pretty equal, but at the end of the day, gear had a huge impact.

The day when these tournaments reflect equal gear, is the day ill participate in one. Until then, ill be watching and rooting for the underdogs. Good luck all!

On top of existing grammatical errors, it makes the post that much harder to understand. So, perhaps you can see why I would get confused. I do not point out grammar mistakes - find one post where I have that I am not joking around with friends.

Either way, this is obviously not the case and I do not even think there are para gems to come gear out like that. Considering paracelsus gems go for 4M each, which end gamer is rich enough to buy a Nekro (40m) and then spend another 40m on para gems? All for s tournament? There's only a few and most of which do not pvp.

That's a gamble and as an avid platinum buyer, I do not like to use locks as a source to make money. I pop them for fun. If I loot something, I loot. However, I do not go in expecting to make money. Yes, you can make money with lockeds, however it is not usually as profitable as you would think.
