Hmmm. Mobs are the easy part... Scaling only mobs does not change the overall difficulty too much.

i am sorry, but it seems like you take a way too easy fix for fixing the scaling problem which can have several problems... you should make the scaling done at almost real time with number of players in map, not blocking new player to come in... if you do that, simple problem like player leaving in the midway of map and make the map harder wont even exist...

Players are not allowed to join after kill unspecified number of mobs.

We were killing mobs in three and invite last player to the party when last group of mobs left (boss wasn´t spawned). The last player couldn´t join

From technical point of view: installing an out-of market app in Android is easy. Thats all.

We tried in Planar Tombs 2.
We were able to jump in when boss was there, but when boss was hit (with one player) nobody was able to join...
So at least in PT2 it works like intended.
