View Full Version : Ramla quest for staff = Waste of time and plat

I decided to do the quest from Ramla, and then I got the staff. It's a blue combat cane, but int. I'm very dissapointed and this is just a warning to those who are trying to get it.

It isn't ranged and hits like a combat cane. :/
Hopefully devs make it an actual staff.

Lol, you mean it's a melee weapon? That's crazy. Anyway, that's the charred staff or twisted staff design, the combat cane (lamest of all PL weapons) looks like a shepard's crook.

Omg... I just spent 15 plat buying all 3 recipes. Devs PL make these weapons at least moderately good

Darn, I took the sword quest, but haven't got a change to play yet to see the stats. So that means I get a ranged sword, right? :)

No, to keep balanced with the new melee mage staff, it's a self-targeting only seppuku blade ;)

Oh fail. I didn't buy all of the recipes when I had the chance, now she won't give me the option. To think that I could have chosen the sword for my pally build and now I'm stuck with this crappy staff!? That killed my motivation.

I also bought the mysterious recipe...I will wait to finish the quest until we have confirmation that the nature of the new staff is intentional. Doesn't seem like it is, but what do I know? :p
