I'm thinking about getting 75 plat, which areas/area packs should I get?

you need them all. Don't be like the party of 4 dufuses I just saw running bandit hideout. The highest of which was lvl 15. You won't think it's very fun. Buy them all, start at the beginning and have fun!

Well start from the lowest level campaigns and work yourself up, if you like the game you will end up buying more plat....trust me lol.

Well buy the alien oasis pack for sure, also maybe the return of Skellar, fathom crypt, Balefort maps, try to avoid buying maps with the same level req, that way you will have enough!

I'd definitely say buy them all. I bought 75 plat when I was level 12 and bought all maps except sewers and had a bit left over to make one extra character slot and increase my stash. Once I'm level 45 or so I'll probably get another 75 plat and buy sewers and spend the rest on stash and auction slots.

I find all the maps fun. I've gone through everything in order with 2 characters now, working all the quests as they have been designed, tried all the bosses suitable for my level, done a bit of boss farming in lower levels and spend some of my time levelling in area suited to my level with similar level players in my group.

Just started on the alien oasis maps now and am still enjoying it. That's the best way to play. If you skip ahead you can and will level faster and have better stuff, but then what? If the game takes longer to get through then you will be getting better value for money!

75 plat is definitely enough for all of the pve campaigns.
