I am a new player in AL, I have a few questions, I would be happy to get the answers please. :eagerness:
# Is there any elixir that can be purchased with gold?
# How do I get bows and legendary stuff without purchasing them?
# What to do after completing the dead city map? I can't unlock any other city.. :grumpy:

1. There are Elixer Kits you can buy with gold (but first, someone must buy with platinum, then sell to you for gold)
2. Loot them while running maps
3. You go to Kraken Isles campaign (lvl23+)
to get there, go to Windmoore Town, run to the right, enter portal from there

Bows are only available with platinum or in the auction house.

If you are done The Dead City campaign and keen on levelling I suggest you go to Travellers Outpost, find the Watchers Tombs and grind some massive xp to level up. A party of 3/4 people in watchers tomb 4 can make levelling so much faster until places such as nordr and shuyal.

For legendaries without buying, beg in a town until someone gives! Duh...How do you think I got a mythic set!

For legendaries I often see people looting them at Kraken mines 3 from mobs (I'm saying legendary gear)... Legendary...well there's Locked Grand Crate of the Watch which can be looted by killing around bosses of Arlor the most popular boss/place to get this it is Jarl and Kraken mines 3

You can get legendaries from the chests you get from the bosses. Even buying the common copper chest can get you a legendary.

Low end bows you'd have to buy in auction house or open crates. Chests like banded, pirate, warchest, etc have lower level restrictions. Generally, for the free player, you would loot equips from boss drops or boss chests. Eggs can drop from any mob, though they're a bit rare. Klaas has some egg gifts and the auction house has lots of cheap eggs.

Good legendary bows come from lockeds so unless you plan to open them, stick with cs. I know legendary bows are expensive at your level, but until Nordr you can still survive and solo bosses with legendary daggers plus bow skills.

Quest for Kraken Isles you get in quest dropbox at level 19. Pick it up and see Reginald in Windmoore City to start the quest chain that starts in Windmoore Harbor.

Quest for Nordr you receive in quest dropbox at lvl 23. Just follow instructions to start the Nordr ques line. Once you hit 26 you can go to Kelys and open Shuyal maps. And when you're 34 you get a quest in dropbox that takes you to Tindirin.

So level up. ;)

Bear in mind though that area mobs will be easier to handle if you are at least a certain level. While Kraken Isles are open at lvl 19, they will be easier (and bosses can be soloed) when you are 23-25. Nordr is a lot survivable when you're 27-29. Shuyal more manageable at 33-35. And Tindirin more doable and less deadly at 38-40.

So depending on how skilled and geared you are and how helpful your guild is, you can either:
- open areas as soon as you get quests for them so that you can run them over and over for higher xp per kill.
- focus on leveling up in wt/kt until you can safely, successfully and speedily solo the areas

As a new player, you really want to explore the world (open areas) whenever you can. Quests take you all around the world, so do all new quests.

Try a new area and if it's too difficult, check chests and auction for new equips, level up and try again. Also, some areas are easier with familiarity, so keep trying and change your tactics if necessary.

There are respec kits in the auction house if you need to redo your stats and skills.
