probably by next expansion, you can make pet that reach level 45 a slightly boost, as i believe that pet are meant to get stronger by each levels, at least linearly

like:
1. a new happiness bonus that more or less equal to current legendaries (some stats are pretty much outdated or not scalable enough, e.g. static stat/regen bonus, compared to relative value boost like damage %, crit %, and dodge %)

2. or a new AA that also slightly equal to current legendaries

3. or a passive that really works (e.g. stun almost never works because enemies that are stun-able usually already stunned or having stun immunity because of fireball)

4. a plausible attack rate, asking an attack rate of 1 attack per second is not much i think, some pets are just taking too long to attack...

Dont buff outdated pets. Focus on upcoming and new ones.

idk, but pet should be treated differently than gears... the sole reason why it has level

in fact if possible there should be a way to recycle old pets, the previous idea of combining pet on same the same type is great, and can increase AL's replay value

One question I have... if Breeze can freeze targets in PvP, why can't Glacian? Food for thought...

And snaggletooth

I don't think pets should be buffed simply because they're outdated. If they start out underpowered (for mythics and arcanes) then by all means buff, but otherwise they should be left as is, otherwise what would be the point of new pets?

Yes, but arcane rarity is still arcane rarity. What Mr. Extrapayah says is true, you shouldn't treat pets as is they are gear simply because pets change level with XP, your gear don't.

I recently found out that buffs can be cancelled out which made me hesitant to even buy glacian. Its AA is supposed to grant 10% but if it can be cancelled out with an aimed shot or even most other pets passive attacks then what is the point?? I refuse to let this go unnoticed.

I agree the buff/debuff system needs reworking; if this happened, most pets wouldn't need buffing as their intended skills would actually work.

thank you for understanding...

well as an example a lvl 40 ripmaw can attack at a rate around 2s for around 180 damage, with small radius of max 5 targets and can give bleed damage for 2 damage per second, this applied to normal mobs in tindirin...

a mere 90 damage per second (probably around 1 percent of the enemies' health) is just too sad... what's the point of giving pet a level and increased level cap if most of them will just become useless in the end?

i still think that pets in same class should have a pretty much same strength and should provide variety to endgamers, so endgame players can choose different pet on different situation

and also, i think all pet's abilities (AA, happiness, passive) should scaled enough, to make it stronger by level, slightly. especially any fixed absolute value attribute like fixed health regen increase

yeah, previously someone also suggest an idea to combine pets of the same type (dragon type) etc, to make old pets useful

i think it is a great idea to recycle pets, and to encourage collecting and leveling pets

+ shared pet stable, platinum is account bound, so why only pets which are platinum based (myth-arcane) things that not shareable in an accounts?

comparing to all plat based gears which are stashable

+1.
Perhaps sts could even put a quest for some pets to "evolve". They would gain stats to whatever sts thinks the pet should have. Also if they could have a slightly different animation that would be cool.
