Mystery gear

So what do you guys think of the mystery gear? I got a full set for my lvl 53 mage :D

the helm and the armor are great, and it gives people who cant afford the shadow armor or mirage a chance to get something good without spending a lifetime on the cyber quest.

But I'm really disappointed with the staff :-( i payed 5 platt did 4 quests and it still sucks compared to the keepers staff of cosmos which sells for like 4k. Even if you complete the set and get the damage boost and with the +7 damage from the helm your dps still only gets to 170, compared to 180 with the cosmos staffs.

If it wasn't 5 platt i wouldn't complain, but considering i paid platt and did 12 quests to put this set together i kinda expect something more...

whats your thoughts?

well i think the set looks AWESOME and im happy with it the quests are kinda hard though (oh and have you noticed that the helm is NOT tradable but the armor IS!)

I kinda like the str set. That two-handed sword has 0.8 speed. Its odd seeing a big twohander hack that fast. I do like the looks, but yeah its not the best stat wise. Rift set with hammer blows the damage away plus 10 more armor.

I'm not exactly disapointed. If it was as good as standard lvl 50 gear, then there is no need for the standard gear.

Also it is actually amazing armor, for the fact it is free.

The dex mystery set has terrible dodge, but FANTASTIC H/s. I would imagine it would do well on a bow bear in pve.

agree. Dodge stinks, Manna use is high with this also. bit more dodge would be nice with out having to mix and match

Bingo. It is pretty solid for being free...yes, not as good as Rift, Void, etc.....but free.

I'm using the mystery armor with fury/bodyguard everything else and I like it. Looks awesome, and the extra hit is nice, seems to make my beckon more consistent.

only the weapon a weak then most lvl50 weapons .... and weapon cost platinum .......

Mystery Armor Bonus - Level 50
Equipment -
Helm; Mystery Helm of the Ancients
Weapon; Mystery War Staff of the Ancients
Armor; Mystery Armor of the Ancients
Bonus: +4 Armor, +3 Manapool, +11 Damage Per Second and +13 Base Damage.

i think thats why they make the weapon so weak , to make sure this set not overpowered , also give you the option to find a wand + shield to replace the staff ........ maybe this is the way too keep balance

So is the cyber set. Surprisingly the wand/bracer cyber set is better than the mystery set. I was also referring to the the others sets which are now running very cheap. The Keeper Enchantress set provides slightly more armor and a ton more damage.

it's a quest , Ez for mage , cuz we can solo most of them from Oasis & Oasis II , also i soloed diamond boss too , can't solo king .... start or join a party for it .

ive done all those but surprisingly or was too sleepy didn't read i got 2 armors instead....

also whats silly is that i got the recipe for the enchantress helm on my warrior and i can't stash it... which is silly unless warriors can change to a mage?? :p

It's all in the stats. Which race type that you chose doesn't matter when it comes to wearing equipment.

after i done this quest line i got a new quest from ghost need kill 20 boss in Oasis II part 4 or 5 , so i start to solo Oasis II part 4 over and over again , not too bad for mage , no need use potion at most time , dead only few time in 20 run , get some nice loot and XP
i was start at lvl45 ,now i am lvl48 can't gain XP from there any more ,but i got my quest down ; (Quest REWARD ：i choose hunter helm ）

so i got another new quest for Mystery weapon again , i already got that staff (not happy with it ) ,so i go for hunter bow this time , i am dex / int mage so i can try to use
it or give it to my alt ----- Quest :Weapon of mass Destruction (Take out 500 Aliens)

so my question : is there a Quest for 2ed chest pic too , if there is one whats the name of the quest ?

Thanks for the info , i got the quest ,cant solo it ,but its ez to pug or start a group for it , lots ppl doing cyber Quest in there too ;

BTW , i hit lvl50 today , so i can try on my mystery set now !!!!
