At this point, given current value of Lock, you would be better off receiving a Parchment, which can be liquidated for 5k. Honestly, I would MUCH rather see Elite Golden Chests than locked; the fact that you reroll OUT of them and INTO Locked is a tragedy!

I farmed Kraken isles many times and I never saw better then one Elite Silver Pirate Chest.

If you go a Locked Grand Crate of the Watch from Elite wilds... man you probably got the one item with least dropping odds, considering the fact that legendaries will always have lower chances to drop then epics is true in every single map.

Wait, if you rerolled for a better item, it means that you looted an epic item. Nothing proves that you first looted an Elite Golden Dragonscale Chest, you only know that you looted an epic item... probably a Platinum necklace of savvy, then Locked chest is better...

What's worse is that the odds are no different from a locked crate that you can farm from Brakenridge. If they're going to insist on letting these dumb locked crates fall from elite bosses at least differentiate them from other locked crates, such as an 'Elite Locked Grand Crate of the Watch with better odds for mythic and arcane or something.

Because all I can think of when I see one drop is, "Damn. Really? Like, Really?"

Yup true and the purpose i doing elite is to loot somehthing valuable not locked that i can farm from jarl or km3

I thinked about the subject and here is what I came up with.

STS is not responsible of the high value Elite Golden Chests on auction. They have a dropping system and it will work everywhere.

I feel like get trolled by STS, they should remove locks from elites OR make a mythic version of the chests whit more chances for better loot (mainly mythics and arcanes), whit same amount of plat to open and tradeable/stashable aswell.

For example: Elite locked crate of the watch whit 2/100 chance for mythic and 2/1000 chance for arcane instead of 1/100 and 1/1000 from normal locks

Its true, even for me i hate it when i loot locked, because i allways think i could have looted better. But then again, its the same for EVERYONE. So....If STS take off locked chests from loot table in end game elites, more people will loot the good stuff when they get a legendary reroll. And so, the price of the good legendary's will go down, you will make the same amount of money. Allways remember, when something bad happens consistently at a boss, you have to remember that its the same for EVERYONE and so you are not loosing more money then you should be winning.
