New character?

Its maybe time for a new class in AL.

This is maybe one of the hardest thing to do, since the base was built on 3 bases stats. Each class is assigned to a specific base stat: Strength for Warrior, Dexterity for Rogue and Intelligence for Sorcerers.

If you want to add a new character:

- you'll either build a hybrid of each base stats
.....- you'll either end up creating 3 new hybrids of 2 base stats (50-50)
.........- Class_4: Str and Dex
.........- Class_5: Dex and Int
.........- Class_6: Int and Str
.....- or build a hybrid class of all 3 base stats (30-30-30)

- or change the whole game, by adding a new base stat assigned to that very new class.
You'll also have to build brand new items for each level of each class. The new items would be a hybrid of the old base stat with the new base stat.

Edit: This was done before in PL. They added 2 new characters, both were hybrids of the three base stats. I don't know if that update was successful, but STS will very probably base their choice on that experience.

This game was built over the fact that it had 3 characters. You would have to change the whole game to *** new characters. I suggest making a hybrid, like Dragoon stated, so there would be minimal changes made to the game.

Instead, make the characters a bit more customiseable, like skin colour for mage, Male option for rogue, and being able to make your warrior into a beast, like a Hairy warrior/warrior with horns or stuff like that.

I would love to see a big fat warrioress (or whatever female warrior)... imagine ice spirit set on a warrioress xD

I think the first three classes deserve to be balanced out before any new ones are introduced. :)

I think that the three classes are inter-dependant. You'll need a warrior for tank, rogue for fast killing and some buffs, and a mage for heal and dps and AoE

I do...But I would like a slim figure with real legs that can support my body weight .-.

I mean. maybe a support class? I know that all classes can heal so i guess all of them could be tanks but maybe a class that could buff others.

It would be awsome if theres a new "evolve" thing in al once reach lv.76 while u can evolve your char into a
Rogue:
Dex-str
Dex-int
Warrior:
Str+dex
Str-int
Mage:
Int-dex
Int-str
Kind of type. With new skills and ultimates to use also you can change your characters appearance at the same time like skins, hair, face, gender, race, color etc.

It's impossible for now. Otherwise they will create some kind of hybrid.

+ 1 on new characters maybe a gnome turned good str,int++, a orc turned good u make the story line to add but I think this will do many things like bring players back so the same 40 with 100 accounts ain't boring no more XD
