Player Love Part II Starts Now! Arlor Bosses are Dropping Ankhs!

For a limited time only, defeated bosses have a chance to drop Ankhs, previously only available with platinum or through the consignment shop. Events ends Monday 2/23.

Also in this Update:
+Double XP and Double Offers have come to an end.
+Taurus the Hammer has had his damage range corrected for his large AOE radius attack
+Taurus the Hammer's now has a more appropriate indicator for his charge attack.
+Guards in the Planar Tombs and Shuyal dungeons now have more appropriate warning zones for their abilities

I've got ankhs on average from one in three bosses, thanks! Got one from Pahl in the daily quest too. To those impatient for the event proper to start, I feel ya, however isn't it better to wait for the event to be implemented properly rather than have STS rush it and have it flawed? I can just imagine the complaining that would occur if that was the case ;) And as STS said, the event is a template for future events so it's more involved than simply setting up a one-off event. Can't wait to see what the surprise is!

I can't describe how disappointed i am at how this "event" is being handled. The lack of communication from the dev's is a major point of frustration for players. If you are having a problem with coding or some technical aspect, just let us know and give a general "it'll be ready in a few days."
This part 2 " ank drops from bosses" seems like you just put something out to buy some time. As was stated earlier, players want event tokens and event items to craft. The last two events (hauntlet and love) were completely uninteresting to many high level players, as they offered nothing truly worth investing time or money to achieve.
I've been playing since 2012, and have taken part in many events. After the elondria summer extravaganza i chose to "reward" STS by making my first platinum purchase. I truly enjoyed the Halloween and winter events and felt validated in voting with my dollars.
But i have to say that this share the love event has turned me off from AL. As a guild master i was advising new members as to how best take advantage of the event. They've been asking me for days now what is happening, and I've had nothing to tell them.

PS> on a related note, make the love banner permanent and non tradable. As an owner of Little Love i would not be upset to see a new version of the banner present if it were in a new color. Like what you did with witch/wicked witch vanity. Same skin different color. Or two colors. Pink with white hearts?

Why is there always so much complaining?? I've read comments about supposed lack of communication from devs, questions about a third part to love crafting event, no ankhs dropping. Do you people even read the forums? I got 15 ankhs in 30 minutes from Jarl normal. Ankhs drop til Monday. Next part of event starts next week. Before you start to whine and complain why don't you slow down, take a breath, read the other posts from devs and inform yourselves a little bit before you start posting a bunch of garbage. I swear that's all these replies are anymore. After all, the game is free, more or less.

This event is awesome! Free anks is like farm fest for me! Each ank is worth 2-2.5k! How many bosses do you know drop 2k every few runs? I know of none

ankhs is not tradeable, can't be exchanged to anything worth of gold, BUT
encourage players to kill bosses, encourage players to play elite maps, even when there isn't any loot worth to be traded with gold, player

i almost gave up playing endgame pve after spending around 10m for ankhs (forgive for my noobiness), but you gave me hope with this ankh drops, sts

Try normal way to farm locks in brackenridge (Jarl), its the fastest way i found atm

Thanks for this Sts. Its a nice addition to the upcoming event and something that will recuperate at least partially the cost of running maps.
I was running mostly after locks and managed to collect 80 of ankhs.

Ankhs drop from all bosses on both elite and normal maps. I was also told today that u have a chance getting them by doing the daily quest.

Sts, please help me... After update, i completely having serious dc problems.. When i am in town my ping are okay (yellow ping).. When i enter elite nordr my ping spiking (5-8k) then few seconds later become yellow ping..after i ran the maps around 3-4minutes my ping crazily spiking then i dc..i have wasted some ankhs, and i want to participate kaliza contest but i cant :( ... i have ss some of the spiking ping...

Keep in mind sts always does updates the next day after they planned it. Mostly at the american afternoons. 1-3pm
