Noob Sorcerer

Introduction
Hello everybody I've been playing Arcane Legends now for 3-4 weeks and I have to say that I'm really enjoying myself.I played Pocket Legends before but i felt like it was getting boring because it was so easy. And that's how I decided to move to Arcane Legends. My main character is a currently level 25 sorcerer which doesn't rely on a full int build.


Classes
The only class I've played is Sorcerer/Mage mainly because I love supporting others and prefer long range over close combat fighting. I've tried lots of skill builds all full int but none of them have really worked in survivability(if that's a word). This thread is gonna be all about sorcerer and I would love if people gave me tips on what builds I should.

Pets
The pets I currently own are Barney, Gaupo and Frost all of which are level 20 or above. I made sure not to spend to much on pets as I'm not really sure on what pet(s) I should get for my lvl 25 mage.


PvP
So when it comes to PvP I'm completely rubbish. I get kills sometimes but that's just from stealing kills. Most of the time I'm the one to die first even though I've equipped myself with the skills Lightning Strike, Arcane Shield, Fireball and Lifegiver. If someone could please tell me what I'm doing wrong I would really appreciate it.


PvE
Not really struggling with PvE as I use the skills:
Fireball, Arcane Shield, Time Shift(for mobs), Lightning Strike(for bosses) and Lifegiver.


P.S. Can someone teach me how to make a signature?

mage class needs the perfect balance of skills+gear especially at endgame
first thing to do is do dailies/quests make full utilization of events save up for lepre lvl at wt4/kt4 once u hit endgame farm locks at km3 for good gear and pet then run elites
pve skills wpu;d be ice fire clock shield heal(if u dont have money to buy pots) and light(swap it with clock when fighting boss)
pvp build differs clash build vs build have other specifications

ps:dont try to pvp at lvl25bracket without good gear u will just farm deaths

Ah I see. Yesterday I did some lock afrming yesterday with some guildmates. They said I should buy luck exilir because it was very helpful. i got 3 locked crates so I got my money's worth back. So happy. :3

yup locks+25%lix/klass or shazbot luck helps u significantly

I love a well written post :P. First of all if you really want some hardcore mage advice, post this in the "Mage Class Discussion".

Build
For your build I suggest you spec 3/5 lightning: The first the third upgrade, the rest aren't necessary. 2/5 lifegiver (Mana upgrade) mainly because there's no need for the rest in higher levels since your heals will pump people up to full! At least that's what I would do :). And then all upgrades on clock except explode. The rest should go into (in the following order) passive INT, STR, DEX, CRIT, armor if you PvP more. The things I haven't said anything about, I wouldn't chane :).

Pets
I don't know your budget, but Nekro and SnS are the best pets in game. However an affordable pet would be Slag. (Not big on mage pets)

PvP
PvP is broken unless you get a good clash, but that's unlikely because without somewhat "good gear" you will be replaced for clashes.

PvE
I'd never use lifegiver in PvE as it attratcs the aggro of every mob surrounding you. It's insta-death. Instead invest in a bunch of potions! The best would be if you could use fireball, ice, clock and gale. It's 100% mob control, but you'll die easily, so switch out gale with shield if you have to. Switch out clock for shield at boss and have lightning were I said gale before.
