I wonder how many players actually buy plat... less than half, I would imagine, although, this is absolutely a guess on my part. I do understand there are significant issues with gameplay and with managing abusive and scammy behaviour, and I myself have complained about these things, so I'm not trying to make out like I'm a saint or anything. But the number of complaints about really quite inconsequential things is a bit surprising, particularly given how many players haven't paid a cent for the hours and hours of enjoyment they've had from this game.

Unless you've poured significant amounts of money into this game, it really doesn't owe you anything. And even if you have, that's been a choice you've made despite the issues with the game. I'm not saying STS has no responsibility to improve things, and I'm also not saying that there are no genuine issues that really need to be resolved (buffs/debuffs and skills glitches, I'm looking at you, for example). What I am saying is, pick your battles! Ok so the Valentines event has been delayed. But can you imagine the stink that would be kicked up if the event was released before it was ready simply because people demanded a particular date? I don't work in IT but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that when you're dealing with issues of such complexity, particularly in a live environment, unforeseen stuff is gonna crop up. Especially given that STS has stated that the Valentines event is related to the expansion and the way future events will work.

I realise that at the ripe old age of 33 I'm probably/definitely an old lady in gaming terms, but does anyone else share my views? Yes? No?

I agree with what you have posted as well. It all seems a bit silly to me. Thank you for expressing your opinion :)

I think we should give them time, and let them do what they are doing. If they have a plan, let's stick to the plan.

I prefer giving them time and getting better things then getting something with multiple errors in it... like the rogue vanity bug at lvl41 cap release. It was funny.

What was that vanity again? i forgot it's name.

Spacetime is targeting instant gratification types for their plat sales. :)

You are right though. It's not a big deal if they need more time to roll out a better update.

I like your perspective on this and i agree with your entire post. Sometimes people forget that nobody owes them anything in this game (including myself ) and it's a welcomed reminder to be a bit more humble. I'm out of thanks but I'll get you on re-up.

Go thank GoGo

also I think.. what is that saying.. the squeaky wheel gets the oil? It's easy for the detractors to gain attention but I am grateful for all that STS do (again, acknowledging they're not perfect and there is much work to do in certain areas). Thanks all for contributing :)
