How Should I Spec My Archer's skills?

I have a lvl 45 archer. I have no idea how archers spec their skills? Can someone help me out?

1. Most of the time, yes.
2. I usually farm for gold on my main, but if I try on Charcoal, then, yeah.
3. I dont usually hang out back, I follow the group most of the time. So, yeah, I am a little aggresive.

Keep in mind that my archer is lvl 44, and im looking for a good 50 build.

I'll assume a PvE build and I'll give you a build up to level 55. Max: Focus, Blast Shot, Thorn Root, Evasion, Break Armor, Blinding Shot, Thorn Wall.

Put 5 points into Shattering Scream and 1 point into Repulse Shot. You should have 6 points leftover to use for Restore/Meditation, probably 3/3 would be best.

This should maximize your damage as well as save you some pot money.

When you re-spec, you can max Thorn Root and Blinding Shot last.

Call me stupid, but I'm confused here. Is that for lvl 44 or 55?

Up to level 55. Since you're lv 44, that's 10 skill points you don't have. You can just have 3 Thorn Root, 3 Blinding Shot, 3 Thorn wall, and 4 Shattering Scream :p As you level up just put remaining points into those.

Break Armor is a skill, you're talking about the combo "Cruel Blast" which is, as Slush said, Shattering Scream followed by Blast Shot (wait 0.5 seconds in-between skills).

You just need Blast Shot to take out the shield. No combo necessary.

Or you can just blast a barrel when he's near one. That should take down his shields as well.
