why Lovecraft Kit is not tradable but the materials are tradable?

Listen, the wholle event is all about working together to hit 100k potions drank.
They made materials tradeable so you can help someone else craft his tokens.
The kit is not tradeable because it has no other meaning then to be opened by it's owner, so he can buy love pots.
