To replicate on iPad:
1. Open the keyboard to type something, such as message a friend.
2. Click the cancel keyboard button at the lower right hand of the screen.
The text you typed as well as the UI to type the text still shows on the screen. To fix it you can click on your character page. Small bug but somewhat annoying.
