Why 40% plat sale isn't 40% discount?

Hi when plat sale start i bought x2 chests of platinum.

Then made a few maths and noticed the discount isn't 40% off than normal price.

So my question is we gonna get the % money back or a compensation whit platinum to reach the 40% (atm its around 30% off) discount showed in the announcement?

Any STS employee can answer this?

Same here. Im waiting for the plat offer to finish to see if i was overcharged. There is a similar thread started in the bugs sections. It would be nice to see this clarified.

I just notice theres $10 more expensive between last offer and now.

And what was the solution? Cuz i have been told to contact google.
