Anyone know why it wont let me craft the mystery helm?

I'm pretty sure I did all the quests. I have the recipe, fiber optic thread, alien skullbone, and desert oasis emerald.

When I talk to Jones he only gives two dialog choices, one starts the daily quest and the second immediately ends the dialog.

Am I missing something?

Oh I talked to one of the other explorer's at the tents in the middle of town and asked where to craft it and they said Jones. I'll check there thanks.

same problem here dont have dialogue to craft helmet. jones is the npc

theres a bug. ghost of malik crafts the helmet. just did it now.

It's not a bug. The quest dialogue tells you to go to Malik to craft helm.

What happens when you hit level 50..and have all the the pices for jones helm except DESERT OASIS EMERALD..I deleted the quest by acident..i cant find that quest any more...i really want that desert iasis emerald to complete my helm for my armer..any ideas??
