Mana Consumption

Does anyone know how to get more Mana Regen for a pure dex bird because i go through 10s of thousands of gold on Mana potions and i go thru then within 3 or maybe 4 runs.

Any Adivce?

I suggest spend more attention on crit and other stats on bird, for m/s, 6, 9, or even 4 is enough.

Go pot hunting and stash them, it will do you much better in the long run and earn gold at the same time. You will never run out of mana when you have 4000+ pots on you heh

AO2 Plasma Pyramid. Make ur own game, locked. Go in map with 0 0, when reach 25 25, go stash, repeat, you will acumulate gold and raise pots in no time, while practicing solo skills.

If you are lvl 51 or up, some of the Dex gear has terrific m/s regen...I forget which off the top of my head, but find Physiologic's Archer Gear List in the Archer forum. You lose some damage, but that is part of the tradeoff to get high m/s.

underling gives m/s of 9 when wearing full set. critical and dodge is pretty decent too.

Mana pots are just part of the price for being a bird. Like Moog, my bird is a 56. Using anything short of full sewer leather you will drink mana pots like crazy. I go through hundreds when I am farming and playing. It is just one of the things that goes with the character. Best thing to do is just like was said earlier. Farm mana and health pots. Yes it takes time, but it saves you in the long run. Also, if you buy them, buy 100 at a time from Elly in Forest Haven. Much cheaper than just going under the store icon.

37 int and wearing a level 10 int ring with 3 M/S helps a lot if you are in that much need:)

again, a little too high a level for you, but as a dual-spec STR bird, the Sentinel Talon set mana never got lower than 90%, and shotgun set would replenish between mob groups pretty effectively. Every group of mobs caught a full 6 skills from me, and sometimes all 12 depending on if my cooldowns were done on the self buffs.

Now that I'm mostly dex, it's worse, but still not too bad. half-mana to quarter-mana, and a pot or two in boss fights when wearing talon/shield.

If I'd look at the classes in the same way as cars, the bird would be like an ultra-powerful Hummer. Powerful? Absolutely, but in need of petrol all the time.

I actually had that ring on my bird at first (believe it was golden/silver band of life or something). It adds 4 M/S (1 M/S from INT, and 3 M/S from the ring), which already helps with making your pot-spam-finger feeling more relaxed. I kept it for quite a while like that. You should keep in mind though that every point taken away from DEX decreases the dmg your bird does. How things stand now, I don't think the tradeoff between M/S and dmg is worth it. I see the bird as the damage dealer in a group, and would never trade dmg for mana regen anymore. This is only my point of view of course.
