Lvl 17 mage gear

I was wondering what gear would be best for a lvl 17 mage

My guess would be these:
Weapon: expedition rifle of brut
Helm- ancient druid or icescale brut
Armor- same as helm
Ring- ensorcelled ring of brut or frostbitten ring of brut
Amulet- tarlok heart of brut

Pets: blinky, breeze

If anyone could confirm this or tell me your thoughts on ancient druid of brut vs icescale of brut I would greatly appreciate it

I had an op l17 mage, long rifle brut, icescale set, eerie brut ensorcelled brut all grand glacial gems 1 para.

Hits really hard I played it with dot pve build in pvp using breeze I ate tanks in gw
