Everyone will be able to socket their vanities, so this is will be beneficial to everyone. Help our ailing vanity market medusa for 1.5m is just sad.

Vanities are vanities, ie. they shouldn't have any benefits other than looking Kawaii.

Actually many games have done so where you can buy costumes for you character so they can look good while they give you more stats. You can customize the stats of your costumes with stones/gems the game provides. This idea is pretty good. Having vanities to just look "Kawaii" is a waste of time and money unless you've reached end-game state.

With so many influx of new vanities, old work of art are diminishing and are slowly being forgotten and before we know it there wont be any market for the bad-*** looking commando set, a gem has the the potential of keeping those rares indemand and retaining that "premium" title.

its not just commando set - all 2012-13 vanities are being threatened of their value being next to nothing.

If vanities gave stats then they're technically no longer vanities because they have a use other than for making things aesthetically pleasing. If people want more stats ask for a new item like a Tiara or Crown IDK.

Cool idea. But vanities are really meant to be for looks.

Or it could be for looks and stat boost.

No thanks Id rather keep my vanity sets for looks rather then let multi millionaires socket more para gems and syrillax gems in their vanities.

vanities wouldn t be vanities anymore, but essential part of the gear. the gear gap would grow wider and we could n t choose freely what to wear today anymore. no.

I agree... More paras = more gap between rich and poor.... We will be seeing people with 1.1k damage..

Take note that you too can put gems on it so its kinda fair, provided that STS dont release any more para game disrupting stats.

it would be exactly as fair as the actual gem slots are. a few slots more would only amplify the imbalances between rich and poor.

wearing a vanity would be mandatory, and you couln t just switch to a fresh new vanity.

it would also only elevate the baseline for stats and make it a necessity to gem more items. new content would probably be scaled to that baseline anyway.

the only gems i would welcome in vanities would be special vanity gems to add subtile visual effects, if that s technical possible.

Some people kept para gems... what do you think? People are very creative nowadays

Problem is, you can keep your vanities for potentially forever. So, some people who've hoarded para gems (there are plenty) can simply socket into their vanities and have that extra 28.5 damage for virtually forever.
