Old School Server

so..was going down my friends list deciding who to delete to clean up a little. i ended up deleting no one, because of all the memories i had with them. barragee, bigmay, arterra, jonboy and many others. so i came up with the idea to add an "old school" server, where the cap is 45, and is largely based around pvp. pvp was definetly at its peak back in those days. what do you guys think? personally, i think this would be great and maybe the newer players would get an idea of how it was back in those days.

It's a great idea, but double the price on servers for the devs for the oldschool players.

Arterra still plays, haven't seen him on all that much lately

I'm incredibly rusty. I am lvl 54 and getting wiped up and down BS. I lost the drive I used to have when I played :(

i'm thinking that the lv 40-45 range for a oldie server is best due to the old gears differences between thoth isis horus and osiris. if we bring it back to their original stats, maybe even more pronounced, you can have a outstanding pvp experience, with set building and all. mix in the new crafting and you got some steampunk'd gaming.

as for how this mythical server could run... could STS allow the option for connecting to a server other than its own? for a price, it leases/rents out the code and anybody willing to can run a server of sorts themselves, allowing for minor modifications such as item stats, monster level, and player max/min level...

tried that at release, but numbers were too low so they merged
