I'm new to PL and I have a warrior (bear) level 7 lol. So for I've been putting all spec points towards strength is that a good way to go or should I start spilling the point up on Str as well as another spec?

Go pure strength and be a tank and welcome to the community.

I'd recommend that you throw some of your extra points into dexterity. Make sure you have enough str to put on gear for your level, though.

^^ Exactly. The Bears are meant to Tank, they should have the mobs aggro and be the one taking the damage. If you want to try and deal damage as a Bear, there is an "Attack Bear", which is a STR/DEX build. There's a thread in warrior section, I'm to lazy to go get link :( I thinks its more endgame/higher level though, but should give you an idea.

yea, at this point, everything into STR. I think in a while, if you get bored with being the setup guy and never the finisher, you should think about doing a bunch of DEX so you can carry bows and guns.

There's something about just walking through and shrugging off shots that are killing archers and mages left and right though. That, combined with a generous amount of HP pots, and you'll be a great asset. In a couple dozen levels, it'll help to start working on bear techniques, so that by the time you get into endgame, it'll be like second nature.
