I don't know why, but I have seen lots of people chance their attitude completely once they reached 50 or 55. They go from nice guys to boot-o-nators in an eye-blink.

Lmao I got booted for reason: L and on another game FU; funny thing is that's when I started playing I was 20ish at the time and they where 25ish a week after that I was 50 with cosmos and rift gear and they where 30ish lol.

By the way Arterra, I exacted some low level revenge for you the other night when we were trying to farm level 51 pinks. We had a party of our alts with two 50s and two 51s waiting on one more to join. A 55 joined and I had to boot with the reason "your level is too high to farm 51 gear". Thats right -- lowbie alts booting a 55. Revenge of the boot. :)

Makes me wonder if there are people who managed to get all the way to lvl 55 still thinking that you get more experience if there are fewer players to "share" it with.

I am just now starting to run into alot of the forum members in game and have to say no one I've met on the forums has ever booted me from a game. But I do occasionally get the same boot from others.

I just got booted on my 51 by a host whose team I had been in for a few runs (I was cycling through my alts for the Stronghold quest). As a result my level 56 friend who was also in the game immediately left, and I'm certainly not inclined to join any of this host's future games on either my level 55 full Fury paladin or my level 56 full Mega mage.

Just saying, a single unfair boot can drive away from your games more level 55s than you'd think.

yeah but some are just straight up noobs, and if I'm running with a regular group, idc if you're 56 you're gonna get booted. If there's space, come on in, but if it's full and someone is slacking off, ka-boot.

Arterra, that guy who asked to have you booted is on my ignore list from awhile ago. The problem is that in this game, people equate your skill to your level. And, if you're not careful, it's easy to do yourself (speaking from experience).

Can you level to 53 in AO3? Sure, but it doesn't mean that everyone does. Once I hit 50, I couldn't wait to get out of Keeper :(

We were in Stronghold last night when a 55 in full MM gear went in and got king after I had pulled queen. It was purposeful, and after we'd been fighting queen for about a minute. You really can't always judge a book by it's cover.
