Skill damage??

is there any way to tell how much skill damage your doing?? and is it more based on what you put into stats??? or what your weapon damage is??

Go to your skills page and click on each skill the values change depending on your gear. only heal is affected only by int the rest are affected by all stats.

How can you tell how much your weapons are contributing to skill damage?? is it the speed of the weapon or the weapon damage please explain

Unequip the weapon, check the damage, then equip the weapon again and check skill damage again.

Weapon damage is what effects skill damage. Weapon speed has nothing to do with skills.

We don't know the exact equation used in determining how weapons contribute to skills, but we do know that two handed weapons contribute more to spell damage than one handed weapons.

Ok cool I tried it but found that a talon gave me more skill damage than a bow??? But the bow has more damage than the talon??? What's happening here ?

What talon are you using and what bow are you using?

A level 13 assassins platinum bow=19-29 damage makes my skill damage 130 - 160 Compared to the level 15 talon of excitability = 17-22 damage makes skill damage 134-164 ( this is my full dex archer and is the second multishot skill)

I saw Phys post somewhere, he posted that talons contribute about 99% of their base dmg to skill dmg, while bows (or guns) only contribute about 70%ish.

Well, one factor contributing is that the bow is lvl 13. That would be a small difference though. What tempest said must be true then, but only for birds. Mages and bears both get more skill damage from bigger weapons.
