I've done some testing and found weapons and the overall damage plays a hugerole in skill damage!! But why do people think intellect increases Mage skill damage..... Dexterity increases archer skill damage... And strength increases warrior skill damage?? I think all dex, int and strength increase skill damage in their own ways dex the most , strength the least!! Can someoneelse please tell me what they think!!!

Int increases skill damage the most of the three.
Dex increases is the second most.
Str hardly increases it at all.

Based on this spreadsheet, str theoretically doesn't even effect skill damage.

Vice-versa for bears though right, Phar?

Str most, Dex next, Int least?

I can't seem to find the patch notes for the stat-driven skills..

Edit :

Just found it, was using stat based instead of stat driven.

Minimum and maximum values for direct damage (and healing) skills are now driven by an expression that takes one or more character statistics into account.
For example - the amount of damage done by the Archer's "Blast Shot" is now affected by both the skill rank and by the amount of Dexterity the Archer possesses. The more dexterity, the higher the minimum and maximum damage values for this skill.
Additionally - the amount of healing done by the Enchantress' "Heal" skill is affected by skill rank and Intelligence. Higher Intelligence means greater minimum and maximum healing values.
The "Restore" skill employed by both Warriors and Archers gets increased effectiveness based upon a combination of Strength and Intelligence.

1.4 has been released, but it may take some time to show up in the App Store. 2 free respecs per character will be granted Wednesday (when 1.3 is shut down).

Neither....I also checked. But from what I remember when playing around with the free respec back in the day, that was the case. Don't think anything changed.

Adapts and I where comparing last night using different setups with stats and for mages it's like pharcyde said int gives most skill damage, then dex and str is the least. Although for base damage and dps dex gives out the most dmg and that can be found in one of physiologics guides.

I believe the same principle applies for all classes with your main skill giving you the most skill damage. Dexterity will give more base damage for all classes.
