Please remove Barney from Owl Chests before the update...

Everyone gets a Barney after completing Aquaducts stage in Brakenridge, so there's no need to put it's egg inside the owl chests since they can't be sold or liquidated.

I thought about those options too but we shouldnt have to resort to this especially after paying 15 plat for these. Play hot potato with the egg, turning off gifts, wasting plat/120 story tokens on a 25 slot alt, waiting 30 days and taking up an auction slot.

the only potato pet known is Blinky. It's a potato for the following reasons:

- Blinky was given during Haloween.

- During Haloween, undead come out of earth.

- Potatoes grow in earth, and taken out when ready.

- Blinky is an undead potato that came out of earth.

The sad part about this... is that we eat fries in McDonalds everyday. Everyday, Blinkies are being slaughtered to be served as cheap crispy fries to people. #Save #Blinky

The weird thing is there ARE people who don't have Barney. Just ask people in Outpost about Barney. Lots of them won't know what you're talking about. You actually have to guide them to the quest. For those people, Barney will be a new creature.

I think barney needs to be there if shade is.I would agree if it weren't for the fact that Barney is a free pet that is given to you after completing the second stage of PVE, which is required to advance in the game.

Additonally, it's 15 plat or 30-40k to open these new pet chests, and Barney dropping lowers your chance to get one of the other more useful new owl pets because it's in the loot table. Are you sure you want some janky noob owl lowering your chance at one of those?

I know I don't, and I'm fairly certain that anyone spending plat or gold would agree.

I would suggest put barney up in auction lol. Problem of the next player who buys it

Also items in auction disappear 30 days after its been put up. So if no one buys it then it will get removed itself. It may pose problems for players who don't have many auction slots but.

the price... will be 105 gold. Unless you keep the egg for 4 years, and STS doesn't release the crates anymore... Maybe there will be a value of 25k... just for owning the most impossible egg... of your time.

Easiest solution is if sts doesn't release this pet. Because almost all players have it. And those 0.001 % who don't get it sooner or later. But just in case they are released there are no other solutions then the consignment shop. I feel no use of keeping it and stocking my stash with useless items.

Again, its a free pet. The game pretty much throws it at you just for talking to an npc.

All the other owls require luck, gold, or plat to obtain. Why charge for a free pet?

They really need to come up with a good way for us to get rid of these Barney eggs. I just got bombarded by like 50 eggs while I was afk and I had to create 2 toons, toss all the eggs in them and delete them just to get rid of them. It only took like 10 minutes, but it was 10 minutes wastes, which annoys me.

It annoys everyone. Sts really need to remove or stop dropping trash items... i have 100 toons full of trash items -.- cant leguate them cus can get only max 7 gold from them and if put in auc, it will cost more than item itself.

I would love to have all the Barney eggs replaced with Crates, but that will probably not happen, since most of us would just sell the crates and take our 40k instead of risking another Jahooty egg! heh.
