With Cooldowns,
Disadvantage in PvE:
1) You can get GANGED easily.
2) Really annoying and hard to perform COMBOS.
Disadvantage in PvP:
1) Can get HUGGED by GangBangers EASILY. Which causes you to have NONSTOP deaths and NO KILLS.
2) Takes TOO LONG to finish a one on one battle.
3) Would make combos too annoying to PERFORM.
4) Would kill the challenge in ctf because of cooldown stopping players from killing other players before they reach the flag.

Make a GUILD FUNCTION that allows guild COMPETITION.
Like add up all the numbers of kills from guild members= the guild kills number. Same goes with death.

honestly man,
They wouldn't do it if it wasn't worth it.
Combos arn't affected,
and your only focusing on negetives.
Do you know how long of the day i wish mages in pvp dont keep healing + atting over and over?
It should be amazing in pvp, and make fights actually fights. not whoever has the best reaction time and how fast people can
spam all their skills and break the touch screen.

Pve, tho i agree, they should make it in pve where you can only be attacked by 3 enemies at a time or less depending on maps or something like that.
otherwise, i agree it might suck in times like that. but that is why all classes have something like stomp and avian scream.

The main reason the skill cool down is in pvp is so that people can no longer multi touch and touch all their skills at once (iPad advantage). I completely understand this, though.Hopefully the skill cool down is very short, just short enough to keep people from multi-ing.

They will probably tweak some other game mechanics to even out the change, like make combo times longer, up damage or something.

Or not. Either way, I'll abide.

I dun think it would matter that much in PVE, maybe just need to use more pots. Correct me if i am wrong.

Take it slowly, I am sure STS is testing this a lot and they will tweak dps and mob health or other mechanics if they think its necessary. They don't want to make the game unplayable by any means, I am up for the challenge and don't think it will make combos annoying it will though require more skill.

This will differentiate players even more, the only problem I see is the pugs and how will casual players do when joining random games. They will be very painful from what I can see and its been a while since I did a pug and don't want to do it again.

First and foremost, there is a thread for this, so this will get locked and redirected.
Second, ANY change to the game is ALWAYS a nerf to one build and boost to another. So all the change will cause is more testing and research, which makes a really nerdy FluffNStuff happy :)

I'm actually for this too now. In pvp anyway. Should cripple a lot of cocky players.

False data, why? We have no official data.

1. Devs wont ruin the game by making it so you get destroyed because you can't cast your spells
2. Not really
3. Isn't that like the same EXACT thing going on right now? No difference between cooldown and no cooldown.
4. So your saying you want no tactic of the sort in this game, just mindless button smashing?
5. Again, not enough data. We don't know the mechanics of the game being tinkered with, devs stated they are thinking about increasing damage of skills greatly to account for the decreased casting.

Sorry if this sounds flame-much, but everything listed is pretty much based off of non existent data. Can't try convincing players to choose a side with effects that not one player, other then the devs, have experienced in the game before.
