I STILL LIKE BLACKSTARS GRAPHICS OVER POCKET LEGENDS,
AND REMEMBER THIS ISN'T MEANT TO BE HARSH, MORE OF A CURIOUS QUESTION!

THE NEW GRAPHICS? Which are actually worse than the old ones?

So what exactly happened, Spacetime? Are the graphic cards worse or something like that so you had to use less polygons and different software?

I'm really curious, considering i plan to dominate this game

The first two photos you posted was when Blackstar was a computer Platform game.

The third photo is from when they converted Blackstar from a Computer Platform to a Mobile Platform.

Edit: Forgot to mention that mobile platforms don't support the PC quality graphics that blackstar originally had. Nothing to do with Spacetime, phones just don't support THAT good of graphics.

You're better comparing the iOS iPhone 4 and Android to PSP and DS more than PC



Iphone 3GS: 7 million triangles per second; fill at rate of 250 million pixels/sec
PSP: 33 million triangles per second; fill rate of 664 million pixels/sec
DS: 120,000 triangles per second; fill rate of about 30 million pixels/sec

Whereas PC graphics cards can do a whole load more...

Also Blackstar is in BETA atm and is not optimized and the graphics are stylized to run on an MMO across many devices globally so the quality is more in the art than the hardware to keep performance higher, I think would be correct to say and when you have some awesome artists that's a cool thing tbh.

But the devs have said the step up from PL in the use of the Spacetime engine should be v noticeable: Think they mentioned full 3D instead of the 2.5D of PL??! And there should be projectile stuff the engine can do nicely etc and all that flash stuff I'm ill-informed on...

Hope that helps explain the "difference" and we only have a few screenshots and no actual vids to compare either. :)

I'm sure it will look sweet come launch day.

Comparing PC to smartphone powers not healthy. Still, as long as they give us a quality control bar to crank it up there should be no problems.

Well I hope my phones graphics aren't better than my PC if so I got ripped.......:/
