Of what I know arcane crafting items are not used for more craft items,the fossil is only used for Nekro and Shard for Rendtail Dragonstone.Only some others are used in multiple craftings.I also might be mistakening. We'll find out I guess.

The exciting part of using Crafting for this is the possibilities for the future. While we will only use Crafting for this initial new Arcane Ring, it may extend to old Arcane Items and additional new ones.

uhm, no. every information we currently have was already available when arcane crafting was announced first, again, see here:

arcane crafting might or might not return and arcane shards might or might not take part of it, noone knows. i don t subscribe to all ways the sns discussion is conducted, but it s a pet that leads timed runs and pvp when stacked. so it s very well worth discussing, as the non availability removes options for ambitious players. discussing that has nothing to do with being blocked or not open minded.
