Started 15 mage again today thanks to a good friend (u know who if ur reading it). I just have 1 question, why does the lower lvl community hate kiting?
It's something they can never master
Nah. They've hated it for as long as I can remember. I remember them crying about chunkers pre-forg nerf

Kiting lol. They wouldn't stand a chance vs Onebeastmage. (Any mage or bear new to 15.)

Pfft, onebeastmage would destroy them. Many mages, myself included, have just slapped on armor and tanked and they would still cry.

Or I kite a mages first light and he complains about it.

He did, but he hops on every now and again. By far one of the best 15s along with "Pro".

he deserves the hype,, he wasn't known for his particular skill level (although he was consistently one of the better 15 mages), he's impressive because of the innovations he made at level 15 mage. He popularized almost every trend for mage at the level, first with 6 light as an alternative to 5 fire way back, then with ice storm builds, then with chunker mage (although I give most of that credit to that booster mage smdfdfxkitesxdfdblahblah and Zetris), until he quit.

I was the best dragon when obm used to play way back when he was active.
there is drama no matter what level pvp, but especially end level.

Tbh OBM wasnt even the best in his time, it was always EMP and Harvey IMO. Yes what OBM did was harder because his ice build, but Harvey is/was unbeatable with the typical 5 heal build. To this day i still think Harvey is the best non-founders mage.

Not really... It's just that those people do not enjoy losing to kite strategies (probably because they don't KNOW how to beat a kite low lvl mage). O.O Brings me back to the flourish of 20 Rhino where if you kited a 10-17 bear and they lose, they bring their 20 Rhino and hunt you. O wait. It's still happening.

Endgame is toxic, I almost feel bad for all those pallies with the "omg p@l33 knoob leern 2 int"
I beat obm 3-0 with my L15 str mage. I'm the best ever. No but seriously, I respect obm for his help in making low level mage what it is today. He also helped me with mage when I first started with the class and I still use his tactics on my L20 mage.

You don't really have to mind what they say, as long as you're beating them, kiting or not. Hahaha. Isn't it funny to watch them left behind and get frosted and auto you like "-_-"?

& also, my "thanks" or whatever tf you wanna call it goes to any mage thats actually stuck with 15 mage & not gone 16,17,18+ as a result of failing.
I remember one lv15 mage who actually persevered with a candle I gave him + cutter, art,exp & snipers.
Even though nobody will remember him I'll give him credit for the fact that he beat a lot of much more able pvpers that were using way more powerful weps. Just because he didn't quit after he kept dying for a game or two until he found out the way to beat them.
Reputation means jack **** now, I remember wanting to be as well known as Obm, Bous, Kawa, Mega & many other lv15 pvpers, in the hope that when I quit people would remember me (etc etc all that nooby bullcrap that I dreamed of when I was 13).
only now though, the only reason I continue pvping, although it sounds harsh af, is because I like seeing the response from ppl when they get dropped.
I don't even really come on PL to talk to mates anymore, its a ****ing ballache having to wait till the time frame when they play, which is like 1am for me. *No Thanks*
Just thought I should add, I've beaten Onebeastmage via duel, ask him. (I await the response "well thats when he wasn't in his 'prime'" or some bs like that)
As of yet I haven't fought anyone without founders & lost. (@whatever tf ur name was rankked or tripped or mugged I vsed you fbow vs paw after & won 8 kills then if I remember correctly, you left with the parting gift "Well shame nobody saw this :P" p.s Toy < Paw at 15 mage.)
It takes a lifetime to earn a good reputation, it takes 1 post to ruin it?
& just to be clear, I'm an egotistical pvper and I've dropped every single one of you that denies me beating you at 15 pvp.

I joke, 15 isn't fun to me nowadays. I wouldn't find any sole purpose nor goal to impress anyone at that bracket, nor see much need to strive to "excel" at it. I applaud you for this post though. :encouragement:
