Glitch with a weapon

Ok a person buffed me and i was changing weapons and without knowing it I equipped a weapon that when the buff wore off it was useless..So my char wouldn't attack and the attack button vanished and left a black bar. So my archer in game would hold the sword side ways not straight up. It was quite interesting and worth pointing out. Here are some screenies.

You didn't have the required stats for the weapon anymore. This glitch is sapposed to be fixed in 1.2.

Yes, 2 changes in 1.2 for this - buffs/debuffs don't affect gear qualification, and items are automatically unequipped if you don't meet the requirements (which would primarily be when respeccing).
